How
To Get Here
There
are daily flights from Anchorage, Alaska to Dutch Harbor. Dutch Harbor
is 800 air miles southwest of Anchorage along the Aleutian Chain.
Alaskan
pilots are legendary for their good judgment and flying skills. The
weather in the Aleutians can be unpredictable and delays are a part
of life in rural Alaska as pilots wait for the weather to clear to provide
safe transportation for their guest.
It
is recommended you purchase travel insurance. If weather takes
a turn for the worse, your travel cost will be protected.
If
weather delays occur, we will recommend tours and activities to fill
your time until it clears. There are terrific tours of Dutch Harbor
covering the interesting WWII history, religion, culture and flora and
fauna.
"The
things we see and experience along the road of travel are as precious
as the destination itself."
